A Resource room has been set up in each school which along with basic learning material is also equipped with educational toys and level wise story books for children. Pehal Sahyogi is incharge of the Resource Room . Sahyogis are appointed on full time basis to provide a hand holding support to work on the foundation of those children who are lagging behind and are in need of individual attention. Special attention is paid to improve the classroom environment and maintain attendance of students. Sahyogis use innovative teaching methods and organise extra curricular activities from time to time. Progress of each child is continuously tracked and monitored with the help of monthly assessments. .
Baal sabha, which is a student led activity is a great way of involving all students to go on stage and showcase their talents. Along with fun, it helps in exploring different areas of interest , build leadership skills, learn team work and develop self confidence among children.
Under Project Pehal every month a Baal sabha is organised which is combined with a PTM. Pehal Sahyogis help children in making invitation cards for parents and in preparing a cultural program. This model has dual benefit .Since it is a pleasure for parents to see their child perform, it is attended in good number by parents. Additionally, for children It’s an opportunity to be on stage and show talent, it also gives an opportunity to teachers to interact with parents and motivate them to be involved in their child’s education.
